The story comes in an inked black and white format with handdrawn panels in the late 80s to early 90s. The title has a nine-chapter run, with each chapter further divided into four stories.

Plot

The story follows the adventures of titular character The Jackaroo, an Australian man wearing a wrap-around mask and Major Flash Damingo, an alien platypus coming from the planet Plateus. On the flipside, Major Flash Damingo crash lands in the Sydney Cricket Grounds in 1985, hunted by a mercenary rabbit from the planet Zot.
